This is a SOURCES SOUGHT request for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following: The interest and capability of small business, especially service disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business; Whether the business source is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, verified by an authorization letter from the original equipment manufacturer; and Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339113 for the proposed acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking potential sources for THREE (3) Healthmark Industries Flexible Inspection Scope Kits, brand name or equal, to be provided for the NIHCS VA Medical Center, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953. All items shall be new; refurbished/used items are not acceptable. Brand name or equal requirements: Part Number Description Quantity FIS-005SK Flexible Inspection Scope Kit 3 EA 100657-K Flexible Arm Kit 3 EA The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System SPS Department has the need for three (3) Healthmark Industries flexible inspection scope kits (model # FIS-005SK) and accompanying flexarm kits (model # 100657-K) or their equivalent of a different make/model at their Marion, Ft Wayne, and Mishawaka facilities. Items of a different make/model shall be considered equivalent if they are found to have the following characteristics: Flexible Inspection Scope Kit: Distal tip composed of a light source and camera lens at the end of a 110cm flexible shaft, which features graduating marks. Inspects internal channels of 2.0mm in diameter or larger, to visualize any debris or damage to the internal part of scope. Must be compatible with windows 7,8 & 10 PC s, recording & documenting (No VA network connection). USB drive to allow interface with non-VA network PC Soaking cap to keep electronic components dry during processing. Flexarm kit is to hold the inspection device. Shall be able to successfully inspect and render accurate results for Pentax flexible endoscopes with channel.
