Description

SOLICITATION - REQUEST FOR OFFER 6973GH-18-R-00194 FIRST ARTICLE UNITS REQUIRED The purchase of variable attenuators needed in the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) transmitter microwave assembly. These attenuators are to control the input and output Radio Frequency (RF) signals of the transmitter in order to align the transmitter. The TDWR provides real-time weather product information and is a safety and efficiency related operational part of the National Airspace System (NAS). This purchase is part of the TDWR Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) as mandated by congress.
