Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry of the Government ™s intent to award a contract for VMware software licenses to Carahsoft Technology on a sole source basis. The award will be an order under BPA N66001-16-A-0001, which is part of the DoD ESI source. Under DFARS 208.7403, ESI is the required source for acquisitions of this type of software. Quotes are not being solicited and will not be accepted. The DOD ESI BPA can be found at this location: http://www.esi.mil/ContentView.aspx?Id=700 The NAICS code for this procurement is 423430. Requirement: The Government requires thirty (30) copies of VMware licenses to outfit the development and test environment of the NAWCTSD Live, Virtual, and Constructive for Training Naval Experimentation Testbed (LVCt NEXT). Quantity: (30) licenses Delivery: Delivery within 30 days after date of award to: NAWCTSD 12211 Science Drive Orlando, FL 32826 Acceptance at destination. To be eligible for award the successful offeror must be properly registered in the Government ™s System for Awards Management (SAM). Companies may register at: http://www.sam.gov/. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA ™s System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an śActive ť status as the government cannot award to an entity without an śActive ť SAM registration.
