- Request for Information VA.gov Modernization This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and address the questions outlined below. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) intends to set-aside this requirement for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). VA Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable SDVOSBs to provide the requirements in the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). If interested please provide the following: Respond with an Opt in email to Kelly Reale at Kelly.Reale@va.gov if interested in submitting a quote to a finalized RFQ for this opportunity. Please make this determination in consideration of VA s potential multi-phased evaluation strategy of requesting a series of short Case studies followed by an in-person technical capabilities demonstration. Submit any questions related to the SOO or the Evaluation Criteria. As part of the RFI, there is no guarantee of a response, but it may inform changes to the RFQ, SOO or Evaluation Criteria in the final documents. Is there any additional information not already included you would need in order to submit a quote? Submit a high-level estimate or range for how much it will cost for a base plus one option for the work required to meet the objectives. Instructions for Submitting Questions and the RFI Response: The VA Technology Acquisition Center points of contact for this RFI are Contract Specialist, Kelly Reale and Contracting Officer, Joshua Cohen. Submit any questions to this RFI directly to Kelly Reale at Kelly.Reale@va.gov and Joshua Cohen at Joshua.Cohen2@va.gov. RFI responses are to be submitted directly to Kelly Reale by 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, August 3, 2018. If possible, please limit responses to 15 pages or less. Submissions shall be less than 5MB.
