Description
This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is performing market research to determine if there are any vendors with economic status of Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Women Owned, and other Small Businesses that can provide an advanced particulate, air quality, with CO2 sensor monitor kit ( Monitors ). Responses to this Sources Sought will be used for market research purposes. This requirement is for the VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHCS) with delivery to zip code 95655. The VANCHCS requires a quantity of 2 Monitors with delivery FOB Destination. The requirement is brand name or equal to the 3M or Quest/TSI Model EVM-7 with CO2. The salient characteristics are: 1. Portable hand held environmental monitor that combines particulate monitoring in mg/m3, air quality monitoring, and gas detection into a single device, to simultaneously measure and log mass concentration of particulates, volatile organic compounds, toxic gas, and carbon dioxide. 2. The environmental monitor must monitor the following parameters at minimum: Particulates in MG/M3, Relative Humidity, Air Velocity, Toxic Gas, Carbon Dioxide, and Volatile Organic Compounds. 3. Immediate display of Particle Concentration in MG/M3 4. Light weight, durable, portable hand held device, rechargeable, and capable of operating for 8 continuous hours. 5. Equipment must display real time data to include the following: 6. Time Weighted Average( TWA), Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL), MAXIMUM and MINIMUM, AVERAGE 7. Data must be stored for downloading There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables, with Small Business size of 750 employees. You may not be considered a viable source if you fail to answer any of the above inquiries. The Government is trying to assess the market availability and sourcing for the item.
