Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement for the Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the supply of Potable/Drinking water to be delivered to location(s) within the following towns: Ayer, Devens, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster and Shirley, Massachusetts. This posting is to determine the interest, availability and capability of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned and Small Business concerns as described below. The NAICS code for these procurements is 312112. (Size Standard: 1,000 Employees) The project is planned to be issued on or about August 2018. The IDIQ ordering period would be 1 year from contract award. This project consists of the following components: - Supply clean Potable/Drinking water to locations in Ayer, Devens, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster and Shirley, Massachusetts. Locations may include Residential Neighborhoods, Industrial buildings, and Commercial properties. Exact locations within the aforementioned towns will be specified in each Delivery Order. - Supply items may be required in the following quantities which will be dependent on what is required at the specified location: cases of 24 water bottles (approximately 16.9 ounces each), 1-gallon or 2 gallon jugs, water dispensers with 5 gallon jugs, replacement 5 gallon jugs, or water delivered in tank trucks to be dispensed into storage containers. - Deliveries maybe required to be delivered within 24 hours of the award of the delivery orders. Interested firms should submit a capabilities package to include the following: business classification (i.e. HUBZone, etc.) as well as qualifications and experience in providing the supply requirements stated above. Please include what quantities your firm typically delivers each item in. Please also indicate what size tanker truck your firm is able to provide. Responses are due August 10, 2018. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a solicitation. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
