- This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Please advise if you carry this product or a suitable or equal. It is anticipated that a Request for Quotes will be issued in August, 2018. Award of a firm fixed price contract is contemplated by September, 2018. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), capable of performing the requirements to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: (1) company name and address, point of contact with phone number, and DUNS number; (2) documentation relating to capability of performance of residential renovation projects (including references); (3) intentions of subcontracting program to include set-asides; (4) proof of registration in the VA Vet Biz or SBA websites or intention of registration prior to submission of offers to a solicitation; (5) documentation on company s bonding capacity and limitations; (6) If you are a distributor a statement from the manufacturer that your company is a authorized distributor; (7) a statement to inform the government if you are a manufacturer or distributor; (8) any information regarding FSS Schedule availability; (9) any other pertinent company documentation. Contract Title. This is a request for 25 environmentally controlled satellite sterile storage cabinets 3. Background. Facility is challenged in providing temperature and humidity/air exchange in satellite sterile storage areas. This is a patient safety issue, and a vulnerability for the facility. 4. Scope. These cabinets require 120-1-60 grounded 20-amp receptacle. NMVAMC FMS is going to install red outlets for back up for power outage, to maintain continuous coverage. There are 25 cabinets to be installed in 14 different clinical areas (13 in the main facility and 1 in the NW Metro CBOC). 5. Specific Tasks. Task 1: The vendor agrees to deliver 24 cabinets to the main VA facility, and one to the NW Metro CBOC. The shipping/delivery is dock to dock with no special services, except to deliver the one at the CBOC directly to the location where it will be utilized. Task 2: Training for the units is provided to the facility by the vendor for maintenance and use. Cabinet Stats are as follows: 5.1 Task 1 - Enterprise Management Controls. 5.1.1 Subtask 1 Distilled water will need to be maintained in these cabinets as needed. Access is from the front of the cabinet, and will be check with daily temp and humidity quality checks. Fliters are changed yearly, and will be performed in-house. 5.1.2 Subtask 2 - Contract Management. Deliverables: Contract Management Plan No deliverables 6. Performance Monitoring 7. Security Requirements The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required: 8. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI). 9.
