- SYNOPSIS/PRESOLICITATION NOTICE THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; bids will be requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around 10 August 2018. Bids will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation is posted. A solicitation is being issued as an INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-101. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, and the small business size standard is $36,500,000.00. This solicitation is 100% set-aside to Small Business concerns. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price construction contract with a Period of Performance (PoP) of 300 calendar days which includes weather delays. This project consists of removing damaged siding and existing leaded glass windows on both sides of the A-frame church (approximately 70' in height) and replace with new siding and new windows customer designed to accommodate the leaded glass. The flat roof structure is designed to have some siding replaced and all new windows. There is a small amount of exterior electrical work. Construction work will involve carpentry both structural and finish, painters, window blinds supplier, security fencing contractor, electrical and demolition. Project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Funds are not presently available; no award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. All contractors shall be System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors must be registered in the SAM.GOV database before a contract can be awarded to your company. NO PARTIAL BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE.
