This industry day is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for C-21 CLS. Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this industry day may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this industry day. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION 1. The purpose of this announcement is for Market Research in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is issued IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(c). This is not a solicitation for proposals; no contract shall be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement shall be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or for any follow up information requests. Nothing shall be construed herein or through this market research process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of this research. 2. The Commercial Derivative Aircraft Division (CDAD) at Tinker Air Force Base will be hosting an industry day to present information relative to the C-21 Contractor Logistics Support follow-on acquisition. The event is intended to provide information relating to the Government's goals for the acquisition as well as to solicit feedback from industry regarding the acquisition. CDAD is seeking to specifically identify businesses under NAICS code 488190 and other firms that may be capable of providing all or portions for C-21 CLS. T h e G ov er n me n t is s e ek i n g i ndu st r y feedback on areas outlined in RFI #1, RFI #2, and RFI #3 that was previously posted on Federal Business Opportunities. INSTRUCTIONS 1. If you desire to participate in the industry day, you should provide an email to the Contracting Officer (email below) stating the names and titles of the individuals who will be representing your company at the industry day. Your company is limited THREE (3) attendees. Failure to provide a response will result in the government being unable to adequately assess the number of attendees and as a result may keep your company from being able to attend a break out one on one session with the Government. Companies that provide a response will be the first to get signed up for one on one meetings with the Government and if there is any remaining time after those sessions all other non-responsive attendees will be signed up based on order of sign in at the industry day. Your company will be notified of the specific one on one break out time. 2. During the industry day, any presentation points during the briefing and one on one discussions WILL NOT constitute direction to the contractor. The acquisition strategy has not been approved. Therefore, all information provided during the industry is preliminary and subject to change. 3. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this industry day market research. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. 4. Industry day participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the industry day. There will also be a period after industry day that attendees may ask questions. The cut off day for questions will be provided at industry day. All questions and answers will be sanitized to not tie a question or answer to a particular company. All questions and answers will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities. 5. Questions relative to this industry day should be addressed to the Contracting Officer. 6. The Government briefing will be held to a 60 - 90 minute presentation with general question and answers followed by an opportunity for your company representatives to schedule private one-on-one discussions with the acquisition team leads. The one-on-one sessions will be time constricted dependent upon the number of companies requesting a one-on-one. The room reserved for private discussions will have projection equipment. 7. A Performance Work Statement and briefing slides will be posted prior to 6 August 2018. 8.
