Description

Notice of Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price base and one (1) option period sole source contract to Terumo BCT, Inc. a large business, under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for Robertson Blood Bank, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas for non-personal service to provide maintenance services for the Trima Accel® and SealSafe equipment. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, and the size standard is $20.5M. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source award to Terumo BCT, Inc. for non-personal service to provide maintenance services for the Trima Accel® and SealSafe equipment. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the award action warrant only one source is reasonably available. The Regional Health Contracting Office intends to make a sole source award to Terumo BCT, Inc. 10811 W Collins Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215.
