Description
This project consists of constructing a consolidated communications center (approximately 80,000 SF) utilizing economical design and construction methods to accommodate the mission of the facility. Construction includes a concrete foundation, structural steel frame and standing seam metal roof as well as communications support, environmental controls, pavements, parking area, exterior lighting, landscaping, and all other supports necessary to make a complete and useable facility. The project includes demolition of two facilities totaling 100,000 square feet and two 25,000 gallon fuel tanks and associated piping. Facilities shall be constructed to meet DoD, Air Force and base design standards. The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit the following: 1. Relevant Experience of the Contractor, no less than three (3) projects and no more than five (5) projects, to include experience, within the last seven (7) years, in performing projects (either individually or all within 1 project) with similar size and scope stated in the project description. The following elements of this project shall be included as relevant experience:  Data center construction  Wetland mitigation/Stormwater management meeting the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) requirements.  Demolition of hazardous material (such as lead, asbestos and other hazardous materials found during the demolition of a building) Submissions need to include the contract number, indication of whether respondent was the prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract referenced relates to the technical services described herein. 2. Company profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, Cage Code and statement regarding small business designation and status. 3. Statement regarding Bonding Capabilities. Provide single project and aggregate capabilities.
