- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) paragraph 3.2.24, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with Belarc, Inc., of Maynard, Massachusetts via single source procedures. This procurement is in support of the FAA's Information Technology Division (ASP-400). The award will be made for the procurement of Belarc BelManage Software Renewal. This is renewal of the annual maintenance and support required Belarc's BelManage software with the Data Analytics module. BelArc's Wide Area Network (WAN) architecture allows users to simplify and automate the management of all their desktops, servers and laptops through the world, using a single database and Intranet server. BelManage automatically creates an up-to-date central repository, consisting of detailed software, hardware and security configurations. This software helps the FAA manage hardware and software assets in all areas. Belarc is the OEM of the BelManage Software. Belarc holds the patents, data, and property rights for this software and is not supported by any other manufacturer or source. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm does not agree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in delivering such services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate that information accordingly.
