- Drawing No. 510-5-46829 Solicitation W9127N-18-R-0069 Project Title: Turbine Guide and Generator Thrust Bearing Refurbishment for The Dalles Powerhouse Agency: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District NAICS: 332710 Place of Performance: The Dalles Powerhouse Solicitation Number: W9127N-18-R-0069 1. Synopsis: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District's intent is to award one firm-fixed priced (FFP) contract for the refurbishment of one (1) turbine guide bearing one (1) set of and twelve (12) general electric thrust shoes for The Dalles Dam Powerhouse at Interstate 84, Exit 88 near The Dalles, Oregon. This project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to refurbish one (1) turbine guide bearing, one (1) set of twelve (12) general electric thrust shoes, and shipment of the bearings from The Dalles Dam Powerhouse prior to refurbishment and return to The Dalles Dam Powerhouse after refurbishment activities have been completed. 2. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition will be set-aside for small business 100%. 3. Selection Process: This project will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with the United States Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. The contract will be awarded to one (1) firm that provides a fair and reasonable price and is found to be responsible. 4. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance will be 180 calendar days after contract award. 5. System for Award Management (SAM): Please be advised that all offerors must be in compliance with the updated SAM policy regarding submission of a notarized letter dated April 16, 2018. Proposal Due Date: Proposals are due no later than 2:00pm Pacific Standard Time on August, 27 2018. Proposals shall be emailed to Ms. Halis Batista, Contract Specialist, and Mr. Ryan Shoemaker, Contracting Officer, at halis.l.batista@usace.army.mil and ryan.s.shoemaker2@usace.army.mil. Contractors are responsible for confirming the Government's receipt of their proposal prior to the set closing time. Confirmation can be made by contacting Ms. Batista at (503) 808-4617. Notice to Offerors: The Government reserves the right to cancel any and all of the solicitation, either before or after the proposal opening with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
