Description
Industry Questionnaire UFGS Table of Contents The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base is publicizing this Sources Sought to gather industry feedback with respect to a new Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MACC) for seven military installations across the Front Range in Colorado and Wyoming. MACCs are Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts whose requirements are competed among a pool of multiple awardees based on work defined in individual task orders. Work may consist of multiple disciplines in general construction categories. It may also involve design services for all aspects of general building construction including construction, modifications and renovations of existing facilities. This Sources Sought is a market research tool to be used for the purpose of preliminary acquisition planning. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified, experienced, capable, and interested businesses only. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Solicitation, or Invitation for Bid. It should not be construed as a commitment of the Government for any purposes other than market research and is not restricted to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the data collected as a result of this market research. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought is strictly voluntary. This contract vehicle is a new requirement for the Front Range, however, it will substitute the current Simplified Acquisition Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) contracts. It is anticipated that multiple awards may be made for the contract. The term will consist of a five-year basic ordering period, a two-year option period, and a six-month extension period. Task Orders written against the MACC contract are anticipated to range between $2,000 and $10,000,000. The overall program value is still under consideration; however, at this point, the magnitude of this MACC is anticipated to be up to $950,000,000 over the duration of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, applies to this request. The size standard for this NAICS code is $36.5M. As part of the market research effort and to further discuss the requirement, the Contracting Officer is anticipating a two-day Industry Day at Colorado Springs, CO on or about the 5th and 6th of September 2018. Registration will be first come first serve, limited to two individuals per company. No travel arrangements should be made until the company has been registered, and the date/time confirmed by a Government official. Additional details will be announced via the FBO website.
