Description
This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for new Masts P/O Antenna Mast Group (AMG) in direct support of the Patriot Missile System, NSN: 5985-01-163-3644, P/N: 5035602-2. The subject mast is part of the Mast Group, Hydraulic-Pneumatic OA-9054(V)4/G and provides mounting for the antenna amplifier assemblies. The Army has available the detailed engineering drawings with the technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of the items. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to via email to michael.h.buck6.civ@mail.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Additionally, you may provide additional information to support your technical capabilities of manufacturing of components with similar complexity and functionality of those assemblies/sub-assemblies used in the Patriot Antenna Mast Group (AMG). If you are interested in assisting us with market research information, please answer the below market survey questionnaire. We also appreciate any additional comments that will help us identifying potential manufactures or suppliers. Please complete the following questions. If so, please elaborate on the Program and Assessment tool(s). 8) Describe your company's experience in identifying the alternatives for the unavailability of obsolete materials or components to mitigate obsolescence issues. 9) Describe your company's experience in performing and completing First Article Testing (FAT) requirements for components similar in complexity to what is used in the Patriot Antenna Mast Group (AMG) within a specified timeframe. 10) Discuss your company's capability in meeting US Government contracting delivery requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and to assist in making future acquisition strategy decisions. This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this RFI.
