Description
Notification of MACC Acquisition Milestone Delays 700 CONS/PKA, Kaiserslautern, Germany is publicizing this RFI/Sources Sought to gather industry feedback with respect to a follow-on 5-year Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The Sources Sought is a market research tool to be used for the purpose of preliminary acquisition planning. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Solicitation, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors. It should not be construed as a commitment of the Government for any purposes other than market research and is not restricted to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the data collected in result of this market research and any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought is strictly voluntary. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to this request of information: 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned web site for release of a solicitation package, any updates and all amendments. The Government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein. Requirement Description: The MACC requirement is for execution of a broad range of design-build, sustainment, maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation and minor construction projects to include residential and commercial work for the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and Spangdahlem Air Base areas. KMC consists of Ramstein Air Base, Einsiedlerhof Air Station, Kapaun Air Stations, Landstuhl and Vogelweh Military Family Housing, Breitenbach, Pirmasens Husterhoehe, Bann, Bitburg Annex, Oberkail, and Buechel. Once the basic contract is awarded, performance of services will be accomplished by the awarded contractors through individual task orders. It is anticipated that multiple awards may be made for the contract term consisting of one base year plus four one-year option periods. Task Orders written against the MACC contract are anticipated to range between $15,000 and $5,000,000. The overall program value is still under consideration; however, at this point, the magnitude of this MACC is anticipated to be up to $300,000,000 over the five year period.
