- Description
- USAID/Macedonia is looking for firms who meet the eligibility requirements of USAID's Localworks Program and who have the corporate capability to successfully undertake the assessment. A summary of the assessment is as follows: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Macedonia seeks the services of an entity to conduct a Cross-Sectoral Youth Assessment (CSYA) in Macedonia that will include programmatic recommendations. The purpose of the CSYA is to identify priority challenges for the youth in Macedonia, different reasons behind the growing out-migration of both the well-educated and uneducated youth, identify opportunities to have the youth stay in the country and fully participate in its economic and democratic development, particularly at local level. In addition, the analysis should provide recommendations for the USAID/Macedonia programming, both stand-alone activities and cross-sectoral interventions. The CSYA will inform both the forthcoming Country Development and Cooperation Strategy (2020-2025) and programming under the USAID Macedonia’s Local Works program. Localworks eligibility criteria define eligible entities as follows: “eligible entities” means small local, international, and United States-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), educational institutions, and other small entities that have received less than a total of $5,000,000 in direct United States Government support over the previous five years." If you are an eligible entity that has the necessary corporate capability, please send a one page expression of interest to Florentin Emini at femini@usaid.gov and Rade Knezevic at rknezevic@usaid.gov.
