- Description
- The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to solicit and negotiate a delivery order on Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-14-G-0020 for first article support equipment for the Ejection Seat Maintenance Plan change. The equipment will support Phases 2 and 3 of the change. Phase 2 includes seat survival kit inspection and repack. Phase 3 includes two year seat inspection and test capability as well as Maintenance Water Activated Release System assembly maintenance and testing. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Lockheed Martin Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. All responses received by the Government within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
