Equipment List Notice Type: 0011128508 Sources Sought Synopsis: The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 with a corresponding size standard of 20.5 million. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources for maintenance support of Merge Healthcare brand Cardio-Vascular Picture Archival System (CVPACS for San Antonio Military Medical Center. CVPACS provides access to: (a) diagnostic-quality, multi frame DICOM format image loops (cath and echo) from eleven Vericis-licensed Windows/XP workstations within the service; (b) creation of corresponding cath/echo reports created by reviewing cardiologists using any Vericis workstation; (c) query of all reports stored within a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Oracle database (Vericis, Merge Healthcare, Inc.) maintained on the CVPACS Win2003 server; (d) reduced resolution versions of cath/echo images and reports from any computer with inter/intra-net access (password-protected); (e ) text-only versions of all cath/echo reports in CHCS via a cut/paste operation from the database reporting package, making all reports available to health-care providers throughout San Antonio Military Medical Command located at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Period of Performance (POP) will be 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research. Interested parties should e-mail responses to roland.jasso.civ@mail.mil by the date identified below. A current copy of your authorized Merge Healthcare Service provider certification or agreement must be provided with your submission. Offerors that provide an emailed response claiming to be capable and authorized to provide maintenance support of Merge Healthcare brand Cardio-Vascular Picture Archival System (CVPACS) without submitting the requested Merge Healthcare Service Provider certification or Agreement at the time of submission will not be considered. Contractor responses should include: 1. The size of your business with regard to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219 per the standard described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.102 (FAR available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil). 2. If you believe this study should be performed under a different NAICS code, please recommend an alternate NAICS code and the rationale for the alternative code. 3.
