STATEMENT OF WORK 492 SOSS RESILIENT MARRIAGES/RESILIENT AIRMEN EVENT 21-23 September 2018 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: 1.1 Scope: 1.2 Meeting Spaces: 1.2.1 1.2.2 1.3 Meals: all participants regardless of age. The breakfast meals shall be a variety of typical breakfast foods. Proposals shall include proposed food selections and any and all applicable service fees. 1.4: Requested Dates and Requirements: Event Title: The 492 SOSS Resilient Marriages/Resilient Airmen Event Event Dates/Time: 1800, 21 Sep 18 thru 1100, 23 Sep 18 Total People: 103 Meeting Spaces: Adult room for 75 people; Child room for 28 children 2. GENERAL INFORMATION 2.1 Contractor Personnel: The contractor shall provide an onsite contract manager or POC who shall be responsible for the performance of the work. The name of this person and an alternate or alternates, who shall act for the contractor when the manager is absent, shall be designated in writing to the contracting officer prior to the contract start date. The contract manager or alternate shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The contract manager and alternate or alternates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. The contractor shall provide one dinner and one breakfast during the event. One of these meals shall be banquet style with the opportunity for a keynote speaker to address the audience during the event. The contractor shall work with a Government point of contact (POC) on meal selection. The dinner meal shall include an appetizer and a main course. The main course shall be a buffet or a 3 course meal for each participant. Children will have a selection of age appropriate foods. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian items and vegan or other dietary needs as specified shall be included in the menu choices for STATEMENT OF WORK 492 SOSS RESILIENT MARRIAGES/RESILIENT AIRMEN EVENT 21-23 September 2018 For the event, provide meeting space for the children with tables and chairs to accommodate the numbers of participants defined in paragraph 1.4 with a meal and audio visual support from 0800-2000. For the event, provide meeting space with tables and chairs to accommodate the numbers of participants defined in paragraph 1.4 with a meal and audio visual support from 0800 to 2000. The contractor shall provide shaded, weather protected, and climate controlled meeting spaces on Saturday, 22 September 2018 from 0800 to 2000. The meeting spaces shall be exclusively reserved for the 492 SOSS Resilient Marriages/Resilient Airmen Event. The meeting spaces shall have audio visual support, tables and chairs to support the participants of the event. The audio visual support shall include onsite technical support for the meeting space. The contractor shall provide rooms to facilitate child care, child care entertainment equipment, audio/video equipment for emotional intelligence training, accommodations for two nights at the hotel, and specified meals for adults and children. These expenses will all contribute to providing venues to practice techniques learned during the training. The meeting space shall be predominately interruption-free during the training and dinner. Social settings should be casual and afford members to interact with their families as well as other members of the unit. The 492nd Special Operations Support Squadron (492 SOSS) has a requirement for a three day/two night resiliency event (21 Sep - 23 Sep). The retreat will focus on increasing members Emotional Intelligence and provide various interactive and social situations where unit members can practice the techniques learned during the training. The academic portion will be taught/facilitated by Chaplain West, 1 SOW/HC. The location shall be within 50 miles of Hurlburt Field, FL.
