Description
The contractor shall provide annual maintenance of the UPS system, to include 2 full system PMs conducted no less than 6 months apart. This shall include the battery cabinets, capacitors, circuit control boards and all associated components. The PMs shall be conducted in accordance with the manufacturer s recommended operations and maintenance requirements. In addition, the following are requirements of the maintenance contract. The contractor shall provide two full annual system preventive maintenance services; The contractor shall provide 100% of all necessary labor, tools, materials, parts, supervision and resources necessary for preventive maintenance services (including test equipment but excluding the cost of batteries); All work shall be performed by a technician proficient in the operation and maintenance of this model of Mitsubishi UPS; The Contractor shall conduct an on-site debriefing with the VA at the end of each PM to discuss all issues that were identified during the PM. The Contractor shall provide a written report of all work performed on the unit within 3 business days of completion of the work. The Contractor shall also provide 7 days/week, 24 hours/day, 365 days/year telephone technical support; The contractor shall provide guaranteed 8 hour on-site emergency response, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day, 365 days/year that includes 100% labor and travel coverage; Emergency response shall include diagnostics of any system issues, troubleshooting to identify an appropriate repair and provision of a quote for the identified repair. The quote shall be provided to the VA within 24 hours of the emergency response visit.
