- Transportation Special Packaging Packaging Rqmts 1 of 2 IUID DD Form 254 CDRL A003 CDRL A002 CDRL A001 Solicitation This notice is to provide information about a requirement for the production of CMBRE Systems. The CMBRE System is a joint services tester with adapters used to initiate munitions built-in-tests (BIT), provide munititions BIT status, and reprogram munitions. The CMBRE system is composed of the CMBRE Plus along with the Adapter Units (ADUs) ADU-890 and ADU-891, and all associated cables. Specifically, the CMBRE Plus consists of three cases: a) Test Adapter Unit (TAU) case b) Controller Unit Test Set case c) The CMBRE Accessory Kit case In addition, the ADU-891 consists of two cases: one case houses a switchbox and munitions unique interface cables, and the other holds the remaining munitions unique interface cables. The ADU-890 is a single case containing a switchbox and the munitions unique interface cables. Henceforth, all of the aforementioned will be known as "The CMBRE system." The CMBRE system is used in weapons build-up areas by the United States Air Force (USAF), United States Navy (USN), and numerous foreign military forces. All CMBRE, Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), Initial Spares Kits, ADU-891 Conversion Kits, and all cables associated with the CMBRE System are covered under this contract. This Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type contract will include a basic twelve (12) month period of performance, with two (2), twelve (12) month option periods. Quantites are based on Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ). For a complete listing of items and BEQs to be aquired under this contract, please see the attached document titled "CMBRE System Production_Pre Solic FBO". Destination and delivery requirements are To Be Determined (TBD) and will be cited with the issuance of individual delivery orders. The approximate Solicitation issue date will be 23-Jul-2018. The Solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation at www.fbo.gov only. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out. This is a sole source requirement per FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement will be purchased from Alliant Techsystems Operations a wholly owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, Inc. (NGIS), CAGE: 3EFM9. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. No technical data is available. **SOLICITATION RELEASED 23-July-2018
