This solicitation is issued for the purpose of: conducting market research to identify potential sources for a potential procurement of Bone Densitometer Replacement Parts for the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, MS. Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) 400 Veterans Avenue Biloxi, MS 39531 SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR Telehealth Custom Delivery System or equal Background Biloxi VA is in need of a new of automated dispensing cabinets that can store a substantial variety of medication while occupying limited space in a medication room. The cabinet must utilize existing server for medication dispensing cabinets. Project Scope GCVHCS requires purchase of an Omnicell XT Dispensing cabinet or equal for timely activation of our angiogram implementation project. Product outlined in this Scope of Work shall be available for direct delivery to project site by December 2019 to meet current activation schedule. All requested items must meet the specifications included herein this document to meet technical acceptance by requestor. Specifications Each cabinet may not exceed 79 x28 x28 and have the capacity to store at least 375 medication bins. The cabinets must be easily expandable if needed. The automated dispensing cabinet s drawers must be easy to customize drug locations on site. The system must integrate a medication label printer with a barcode as part of Joint Commission requirements to prevent errors. The software must contain a medication reference library and patient profiling. Data must be easily accessible and ability to customize reports from this data is needed. The system must utilize safety measures such as a light to guide user to select the correct medication. It must also utilize metal locking lid drawers that are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate all dosage forms of medication. There must be a mechanism to allow only one dose of controlled substances to be dispensed at a time. It must also utilize bio identification such as a fingerprint scan to gain access to the system. 48-Bin Open Configurable drawer 3 24-Bin Open Configurable double deep drawer 1 Med 6-Bin double Deep Metal Locking drawer 1 Med 10-Bin double Metal Locking drawer 1 Med 18-Bin double Metal Locking drawer 1 Med 1 Cell Cabinet Solution includes med 1 cell cabinet software license for Scheduled Meds Software license- Profile Option Scanner, Wired (1,2,3 Cell) Console-BIOID, Med LBL & RCPT Printer 1 Pullout Shelf 1 Delivery Location Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System Warehouse 400 Veterans Ave Biloxi MS 39531 Warranty and Support VA Biomedical Engineering will have full access to the hardware that constitutes this equipment. The VA Biomedical Engineering point of contact must be briefed, by the vendor, on all upgrades and changes and agrees to each prior to shipment. The vendor will provide two (2) sets of user manuals and technical manuals to VA Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, Contractor shall provide the standard OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) warranty period for all equipment provided starting upon receipt of delivery to VA. Delivery Coordination Normal business hours for acceptance of deliveries are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday thru Friday excluding Federal Holidays. Deliveries must be coordinated in advance with COR once a ship date is established. The COR or Biomed Representative shall be the only VA entity signing for freight received on this requirement. All items included in the requirement shall be shipped and delivered to site at same time. If deliveries must be broken into several shipments due to size, this must be coordinated in advance with the COR. Failure the coordinate shipment with COR, may result in failure to deliver on site and cause re-scheduling of delivery/freight. In this event awarded Contractor assumes responsibility for additional fees associated with the re-scheduling of freight.
