- The U.S. Marshals Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with MTA Bridges and Tunnels, 2 Broadway 23rd Floor, New York, NY to provide the Eastern District of New York tunnel and bridge access for one (1) year through the service of up to 75 EZ passes for government owned vehicles utilized in the performance of official duties. Travel throughout the city and surrounding area is integral in the duties of Deputy U.S. Marshals. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488490. The SB size standard for this code is $7.5 million. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 - Circumstances permitting other than full and open competition. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. The determination of the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition was made in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Entities may identify their interest and ability to meet this requirement via a written capability statement only. All capability statements must be emailed no later than 2 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. Any information received will be maintained for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates an award date on or about August 6, 2018. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
