Description
THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. THIS IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. About NSWC PHD: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) is one of the ten surface and undersea warfare centers and our mission is to provide test and evaluation, systems engineering, integrated logistics support, in-service engineering, business services, and integration of surface ship weapons, combat systems, and warfare systems. NSWC PHD has been designated as the lead for implementing the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) of the Future initiative. It is a crucial time to be on the edge of a technology renaissance especially as we continue to support a growing U.S. Navy fleet. We all need to be more networked, more talented, more agile, and more responsive to meet the fleet's needs. About the Event: NSWC PHD will be hosting an ISEA of the Future forum on 22 August 2018, from 07:00 - 18:30 at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division. NSWC PHD would like to invite our industry partners in the ISEA community to participate on panels that will encourage discussions on evolving technologies and applications, share knowledge and experience, and encourage new partnerships. The forum will be a collaborative effort and the first in a series of events designed to bring together Senior Scientific and Technical Managers across DoD, Industry and Academia. Panel Topics: Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics and Big Data, Digital Twin, Deep Learning, Autonomy and Robotics, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Enhance Collaboration with Defense Partners, and Way Forward. Abstract papers for participation in a panel are requested for consideration by 03 August 2018. Please keep submissions to half a page, highlighting the topics to be discussed and its relationship to the above described forum. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. Please note that official information will be provided only by the Contracting Officer. Any information received from other sources should not be relied upon as official. POC: If you would like an e-invite to this event send us your email address before 13 August 2018. Please put "ISEA event 22 Aug." in the subject line and in the body of the email please indicate if you will be submitting an abstract (due 03 Aug.) for consideration. Due to space limitations, we respectfully request that no more than two individuals from each organization plan to attend. Send request to: nswcphd_cco@navy.mil
