Description

This Project is Set Aside For NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic ™s Small Business (SB) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), For Design Build (DB) And Design Bid Build (DBB) Projects In The Northeast Area Of Responsibility (AOR);Contract Numbers: N40085-16-D-3041, N40085-16-D-3042, N40085-16-D-3043, N40085-16-D-3044, and N40085-16-D-3045. The contractor shall provide all required materials, labor, services, equipment, and incidental related work as required to provide and install two new cooling towers, as shown on NUWCDIVNPT Drawings 18-011A. The work shall include but shall not be limited to the following: a. Phased removal of the existing cooling towers. Second cooling tower shall not be removed until one of the new cooling towers is operational. b. Phased installation of two new cooling towers including all associated crane work to move the towers to the job site. c. Provide 2 variable frequency drives for tower motors; modify the direct digital controls for tower control including the complete programming of all new components; new electrical feeds and connections. d. Intercept existing underground electrical conduits and provide a new electrical feeds where indicated. e. All other incidental work necessary and as shown on contract drawings for a complete and usable system
