The DEA posted a pre-solicitation notice for this acquisition on 14 June 2018 entitled "15DDHQ18-Building-Masonry-Repair". This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238140. The size standard is $15,000,000.00 in average annual receipts for the past three years or as defined by the Small Business Administration at the due date and time for this solicitation. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed acquisition must obtain a copy of the solicitation at no charge from the Federal Business Opportunities website as applicable. No paper copies of this acquisition will be furnished. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price type contract in accordance with the acquisition procedures established in FAR 13.106-2, to the offeror whose evaluated offer represents the best value lowest technically acceptable offer. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The Request for Quotation, drawings and related documents are attached with this posting. All questions shall be submitted electronically using the electronic mail system no later than 2:00 pm (EST) on 15 August 2018. The due date and time for offers is no later than 2:00 pm (EST) on 23 August 2018 and are also required to be submitted electronically to Mr. Rick Thibeault, Richard.R.Thibeault@usdoj.gov Unless determined by the Contracting Officer to be advantageous to the government, late offers will not be accepted. All offers must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as an active contractor with no exclusions preventing award to be eligible for a contract award. A site visit shall be conducted on 31 July 2018 at 10:30 as specified in the RFQ. This is the only site visit to be held unless the Contracting Officer later determines additional site visits are necessary.
