Description

Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Medivators, Inc. (DUNS 068199363), 14605 28th Ave. N, Minneapolis, MN 554474822 for the following services: Endoscope Reprocessors. The estimated cost of this contract is $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 with a size standard of $19 million for this procurement. The expected award date for this contract is on or about August 10, 2018. The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, transportation, travel and equipment required to provide preventive and remedial maintenance (PM/RM) services on Government-owned equipment located at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101 for the base year period of September 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019, and four (4) one (1) year option periods, through September 30, 2023. Inspections and PM services shall be conducted from January through March in such a manner that only one disinfector is out of service at any time. Responses shall be received no later than 7 calendar days after the posting of this notice and shall be submitted via e-mail only to Leslie Robinson, Contracting Officer, leslie.robinson@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and phone calls will not be returned. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement (based on the responses received to this notice) is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in responses. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
