Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the DESIGN-BID-BUILD Upgrade Cath Lab Site Prep project at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center (VAMC). PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will include the remodeling of Cath Lab 2 and the site preparation for a new single plane x-ray machine. New power, low voltage communications, nurse call, HVAC, plumbing, air handler upgrades and service booms, Corridor flooring and Wallcovering will be required as part of the project. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 Million. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 06, 2018. The period of performance is approximately 280 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to Donald.marsh2@va.gov.
