Description
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to modify Contract #HSTS01-17-C-PRO037 with Logistics Systems Incorporated (1100 G Street, N.W. Suite 410, Washington, D.C. 20005-7426) for warehouse operations and inventory management services in support of operations at the Government leased warehouse in Coppell, TX. The Contractor is responsible for receiving, staging, storing, handling, packaging, securing, distribution, inventory, accounting, shipping and disposal of Government property located at the TSA Logistics Center (TSALC). TSA intends to award an extension for up to six months after contract expiration on August 31, 2018 to ensure continuation of services and to prevent a gap in service following the award of a new contract. The extension is required for transition, personnel vetting, and security authorization. A request for proposal (RFP) was issued on June 15, 2018 under GSA OASIS Pool 1 Small Business to 8(a) Small Business contract holders as a competitive set aside for the follow on contract. The resulting modification will address the requirements of TSA's Property Management Division within the Finance and Administration Office. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for the proposed contract action under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interest and capability to respond to the requirement from interested parties will be considered by the Government until 12:00pm Eastern Time on July 27, 2018. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether it is in the Government's best interest to procure using other than full and open competition. All final determinations to award the intended extension using other than full and open competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. Such determinations will be publicized in accordance with FAR requirements. Interested vendors who wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly.
