- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Italy will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. The solicitation covers Italian Language Sessions to be provided to the American Officers at the US Embassy in Rome, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish equipment as well as managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Government. Total estimated number of officers to be serviced: approximately 60. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in August 2018. Please note that in order to be eligible for a US Government award, SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations. No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time
