- Fairchild AFB, Washington is seeking information on companies that provide Automated Tool Control (ATC) system products equal to Snap-On Level 5 Automated Tool Control System consisting of: 1 each Level 5 Tool Box Item Number L5ARC540BO, 1 each Level 5 ATC Locker Item Number L5331J00APBO, 1 each ZoomID Software 5YR Item Number L5ZOOMIDL5, 1 each ATC-TCMAX bridge software Item Number L5CV9ATCBR, 1 each LG KIT 212 Tags 216S 966M 405L2 Item Number L5TAG01J30A, 1each FastFlag Software 5YR Item Number L5FASTFLAGL5, 1 each ATC LOCKER RFID TAG Item Number L5A0331J62B, 2 each ATC ANDON Light Kit Item Number L5FASTFLAG, 1 each ADMIN Software W/Badge Scanner Item Number L5A0298J11A, and 1 each ATC Scanner Item Number L5ASCAN. The tool box system will be used for user self-issue and turn-in of tools, tool custody transfer, and inventorying of items for control and accountability purposes. There is no funding currently available for this procurement; this is a request for information about available suppliers of this type of product only. The items sought likely are NAICS 332439 Tool boxes- light gauge metal-manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. The PSC is likely 5140 Tool and Hardware Boxes. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties shall be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential source shall have registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested contractors shall provide their business category (small or large). The response should be one page providing the following information: business name and address, CAGE code, size classification, socioeconomic classification based on NAICS size standard and a point of contact. Additionally, include a one page attachment outlining the company's product capabilities of performing automated tool control and evidence of your company's experience providing products similar in type and scope to include; contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact. The ATC should meet the following minimum salient characteristics: • Tool box must have a minimum of 9 drawers • Tool box must be a minimum of 54 inches wide (this size required to fit the quantity of tools we plan to put in the box) • Tool box must have RFID access (for use with USAF issued Restricted Area Badges) Must be able to read 26 bit Wiegand standard format proximity RFID cards • Tool box must interface with Air Mobility Command mandated TCMax software (Soaring Solutions) • Tool box must interface with Automated Tool Control Locker • Tool box must connect to Level 5 administrative interface (This is the software that will allow the toolbox to connect to all the toolboxes and in-turn to the AMC Mandated TCMax software) • Tool box must digitally capture image of drawer(s) • Tool box must be able to track serialized, certified, and calibrated items (in-use with lg tags) • Tool box must have the ability to be locked automatically and manually • Tool box must operate using 110V AC • Tool box must be Wi-Fi capable (for standalone communication to other ATC interfaced boxes and lockers, Wi-Fi will be strictly non-network use) • Tool box must be capable of expanding to ethernet networkable on the AF NIPRNET, and scalable with other Level 5 ATC units • Tool box system must be capable of creating an image and store it digitally and provide fast responses during shift changes when many boxes are being checked in and out simultaneously • Tool box must be Gloss Black with Stainless Steel top (to match current tool boxes) • Tool box must be capable of interfacing with tag reading software for serialized items • Tool box must be compatible with FastFlag Status Display Light System and software (not included in this purchase) o FastFlag Status Display Light System is a visual indicating system to alert users and operators of an error, warning, or successful issue or turn-in of tools and equipment through a colored lighting system. • Tool box must have multi-directional wheels (castors) • ATC Locker must interface with AMC mandated TCMax software (Soaring Solutions) • Locker must interface with ATC Tool Box • Locker must have RFID access (for use with USAF issued Restricted Area Badges) o Must be able to read 26 bit Wiegand standard format proximity RFID cards • Locker must have the ability to be locked automatically and manually • Locker must be powered with 110V AC • Locker must connect to Level 5 administrative interface • Locker must be Gloss Black to match existing lockers • Locker must be able to track serialized items (in-use with RFID Tag) • Locker must have heavy duty metal shelves capable of supporting 50lbs • Locker must be compatible with FastFlag Status Display Light System and software • Locker must be fully networkable and scalable with other Level 5 ATC units • Locker must be Wi-Fi capable and Ethernet networkable • ATC system must be delivered with TCMax Bridge Software (for use with AMC mandated TCMax tool accountability program)
