Description

This is a Request for Information Only STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) PeriOp 101 Training BACKGROUND The Veterans Health Administration Ann Arbor (VHAAA) Surgery Service, Operating Room (OR) has a need for PeriOp 101 training to support new nurses entering OR for the very first time, or for experienced nurses returning to OR after extended leave or changing settings. OBJECTIVE PeriOp training to support new nurses entering the OR and experienced nurses returning to OR after extended leave or changing settings. SCOPE/REQUIREMENTS Delivery of standardized, evidence-based PeriOp 101 training to improve standards of practice, which leads to improved patient outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient settings. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Products and services will be rendered at VHAAA at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, specifically within Surgery Service operating rooms. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES The contractor will provide: Product # Product Name Quantity PC 101-SEAT 4-18 PeriOp OR/OB/ASC Student Seats 50-99, and includes __ Administrator seats and __ Preceptor seats. 55 MAN-581 Alexander s Care of the Patient in Surgery (Latest Edition) 3 HOURS OF WORK Work will be performed during normal business hours, which are defined as Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm (EST), excluding federal holidays. The ten holidays observed by the Federal Government are New Year s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and any other day declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday. Work performed outside of normal working hours of coverage is not authorized.
