- Description
- : The US Army has identified a need for engineering and technical support in the area of the Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) Component Performance Analysis Tool (CPAT). The current CPAT software is modular and extensible and must be expanded to support integration of Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) models of Counter-Rocket Artillery Mortar (C-RAM) System of Systems (SoS) components to include weapons, electronic warfare systems, and aerial systems to support C-UAS mission planning, weapon system analysis, and defense design. This effort will include programmatic, system engineering, software development, test, and configuration management. Existing functionality of CPAT shall be maintained, and functionality expanded to include the new C-UAS models, which will be provided by the program office. The contractor shall update existing interface design documents to reflect the new capabilities added the software. Soldier training requirements to operate and plan these new models shall be minimized and make use of scenario based training aids or other options to minimize formal training requirements. Software complexity shall be comparable with the current CPAT, which is already optimized to support a soldier's capability to successfully produce defense designs with a minimum of training. The contractor must have personnel in place and ready to begin work within 15 days of contract award. The contractor must be familiar with AMDWS and CPAT.
