Description
Quad Example Portable Patient Transport Life Support System - RFI Description: The Health Systems Team, Program Manager Supply and Maintenance Systems (PM SMS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking potential sources and best practice information towards designing, modernizing, updating medical technology and procuring Authorized Medical/Dental Allowance List (AMAL/ADAL) consumables/equipment. MARCORSYSCOM is particularly interested in lighter weight, innovative solutions equaling or surpassing current performance standards which can be directly implementing into its AMALs particularly to AMAL 647 EN ROUTE CARE SYSTEM (ERCS), to include Portable Patient Transport Life Support System (PPTLSS). The following is provided to focus for your product submission. Background: The current PPTLSS is a FDA 510K integrated device that provides efficient ventilation, suction, oxygen generation and physiologic monitoring used by Navy medical personnel to evacuate/transport wounded Marines and Sailors from the battlefield. Requested Information: The SMS Program Office is evaluating options to eventually replace and increase the capability of the PPTLSS by reducing weight/size and improve cost effectiveness to provide the most economical and optimal care possible under various conditions. The proposed devices shall provide although not limited to the following capability; ventilation, suction, oxygen generation and physiologic monitoring. The system shall be FDA 510 cleared or have a plan as to when it would be cleared. Responses: Companies wishing to respond shall submit a Quad Chart (example provided) and a three page product information paper for each item containing name, point of contact, phone number, test data, product reliability, user feedback with testimonials, and/or company references (website).
