Description

Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Duct Cleaning for the VA Medical Center Northport, NY 11768. Contractor to clean the entire heating and cooling systems, including ductwork and all components (drain pans, humidifiers, coils, and fans) on a quarterly basis. Contractor shall clean all air handler units, supply ducts, plenum ducts, return ducts, and exhaust ducts. Contractor to clean the heat exchangers, cooling coils, coil drain pans, blower blades, blower compartments, interior ductwork surfaces, registers, grilles, diffusers, and dampers (if so equipped). Contractor to adequately demonstrate that the air handler units, duct work and plenums are clean. The Contractor shall properly reinstall all components, properly dispose of all debris, and perform all work in accordance with all EPA, NFPA, Federal, State, and local codes. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561790. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (via email or fax) and must be received not later than July 25, 2018 at 9:00AM. Email: josie.tuitt@va.gov and Fax: 718-741-4585. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 561790. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
