POC: Wilmen Joa | email: Wilmen.Joa@va.gov DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO, JPL & ASSOCIATES, LLC., for the DESKING AND STORAGE, TRENDWAY. This project shall consist primarily of field verification, receiving, delivery, assembly and installation of desk systems at 4 rooms (B 109, B111, D112 and D113) to house Providers and Nursing staff. This is an urgent procurement. Market research was conducted and determined that sole sourcing this requirement is in the best interest of the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), Lyons Campus, New Jersey Healthcare Systems Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1)-FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to JPL & ASSOCIATES, LLC., 1629 Pelican Cove Rd BA234, Sarasota, FL, 34231-6752. JPL & ASSOCIATES, LLC. will provide items below, and installation & training as needed to Lyons Campus, New Jersey Healthcare Systems Medical Center. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A Qty of 1 ea lot of Trendway product under Teaming Agreement as per GS-28F-0003V. A Qty of 1 ea Design Services under JPL GS-03F-001DA 140.00 140.00 Installation/Relocations Services under JPL GS-03F-001DA A Qty of 1 ea Project Management Services under JPL GS-03F-001DA This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to July 23, 2018. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to Wilmen.Joa@va.gov and received by 11:00AM EST on July 23, 2018. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
