Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in accordance FAR 12 and 13 procedures. This procurement will be set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The purpose of the Solicitation shall be to provide the VA Black Hills Health Care System with Sterile Processing Technicians Services (SPS). The primary purpose of the Sterile Processing Technician (SPS Sterile Processing Service) is to provide the operating room, dental service, interventional procedural areas, various clinics, wards, departments, CBOCS and other hospital facilities with sterilized and/or high level disinfected (HLD) critical and semi critical reusable medical equipment (RME) such as surgical instruments, instrument sets and flexible endoscopes. Reprocesses (disassembles, cleans, decontaminates, assembles, HLD or sterilized) critical, semi-critical and a few non-critical RME in accordance with manufacturer s instructions, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JACHO) standards, VA directives, VA handbooks, Center for Disease Control (CDC), Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AMMI),, International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) and local SPS policies and procedures. The electronic solicitation will be announced on or about July 17th, 2018. The offeror will be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 23. No questions will be accepted prior to the solicitation, this is for notification purposes only.
