Amendment 0002: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 36C26318Q0627 Minneapolis VAMC Simulation Center AV Upgrade This amendment is to post questions and answers as of 07/13/2018. Question 1: Does the TeleTouch Multivewer eliminate the need for the wall monitor in the control room?   If not, is the monitor to be reused? Response:   We will use the TV monitor in the control room as an additional monitor. Question 2: What is the intent of the Vaddio PC Capture Card and the Hauppauge HD Video Recorder PC Interface?   Is this to record camera video on a PC?   Response:   We record simulation training via Laerdal SimView AV System.   This is the computer under the table in the Control Room and connecting to the Vaddio and camera system.   Yes, we record camera video on the PC for playback in the Training Room on the SMART Board.   This is already wired and not part of the project. Question 3: The spec calls for 6 ceiling speakers.   How are they to be distributed (where are they intended to go)?   Response: Per the SOW, two are in the main open area (one each above each bed used as training stations), and four are in the 227-C Simulation Lab room. Question 4: Is the following equipment to be re-used? Microphone and speaker in 4 camera simulation room: Response: No changes.   Will remain in place. Speakers in classroom: Response: No changes. Will remain in place.   Same for the two speakers in the 227 main open floor area (located on the wall on each side of the pull down projection screen).
