- Market Survey DLA Land & Maritime is preparing to solicit a one-time buy for NSN 4320-01-647-6669. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract only for materiel from the approved source(s) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The approved source(s) is Wartsila Defense, INC P/N WD1002077-001. Parties interested in becoming an approved source for this NSN must submit the appropriate information as outlined in DLA Procurement Notes L04 - "Offers for Part Numbered Items" and M06 - "Evaluation of Offers for Part Numbered Items". The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339991 (Gasket, Packing, and Sealing Device Manufacturing) with a business size of 500 employees. This SOURCES SOUGHT notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. No solicitation exists at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses that express interest in executing this potential contract.
