- BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY 2018 August 13, 14, 15 & 16, 2018 The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico is hosting their 32nd consecutive annual BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY August 13-18, 2018 at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico. PACA has negotiated a special rate for Hotel Chaco, which is attached to Hotel Albuquerque Old Town, for those individuals or corporations desiring to enjoy 5-star hotel accommodations, have sidebar meetings and etc. The 2018 BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY offers three full days of comprehensive presentations and an exceptional opportunity to meet with Industry and Government customers face-to-face. This year's event will begin with a courtyard social on Monday evening, 13 August, from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday morning, 14 August, will begin with a hearty networking breakfast, with the formal proceedings starting at 8 a.m. sharp followed by a top-notch reception at Casa Esencia. This event will run through Thursday afternoon, 16 August. Our one-of-a-kind event draws in excess of 500 industry and Government representatives annually. The presentations feature new business opportunities for the upcoming year and foreseeable future and will include descriptions of missions, program objectives, value and plans; points of contact, as well as breakout sessions for more detailed information. We anticipate over $20B in upcoming opportunities to be presented. Topics will include: • Research and development • Test and evaluation • Technical and analytical support • Operations and maintenance • Systems procurement PACA has invited over 30 presenters to participate in this years' event to include: • Air Force Research Laboratory(AFRL) (all directorates) • Space and Missile Systems Center Directorates • Operationally Responsive Space Office (ORS) • Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) • PEO for Strategic Systems • Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) • AF Global Strike Command agencies • Department of Energy (DOE) • High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office (HEL-JTO) • White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) In addition, PACA has invited distinguished senior leaders from the military services and government to provide keynote speeches. Speaker information, along with updated event information and online registration is available at pacanm.org/briefing-for-industry. PACA requests you register as soon as possible to aid in our final event planning. If not a PACA member, now is a good time to become a member and realize the benefits and savings of the PACA membership. To accommodate increased detail, all non-Government attendees will be required to be U.S. citizens and to supply a copy of their organization's DD2345, "Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement" prior to being confirmed for the conference. Details regarding acquiring and submitting a DD2345 are available on the BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY website. For those companies wishing to support the Briefing For Industry as a sponsor or co-sponsor, we have several receptions that are available.
