Description
The following information is provided in accordance with FAR 15.2, Exchanges with Industry Before Receipt of Proposals. The Government presents this Request for Information (RFI) to seek input from industry on the stated requirements. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and offers will not be accepted. The Government will not make an award resulting from this RFI. Any information received in response to the RFI will be used to inform a potential solicitation with the intent to make a Government contract award. This RFI does not guarantee the release of a solicitation. Responses to the RFI will not be disclosed outside the Government; however, Respondents shall consider information received may be used to shape a future public solicitation and therefore avoid providing proprietary information that could otherwise be disclosed through the solicitation process. Responses to the RFI are voluntary and costs will not be reimbursed. The Department of Commerce (DOC) has one overarching purpose: Helping the American Economy Grow. American workers and businesses operate in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive world. To address these challenges, we have developed bold new strategies to accelerate and promote U.S. economic growth and opportunity. Knowing that innovation is a key driver of economic advancement, we are placing an increased emphasis on the commercial opportunities of space exploration and aquaculture, while our scientists are conducting foundational research in areas ranging from artificial intelligence to quantum computing. DOC seeks to further its mission through implementing an effective, efficient, secure, uniform performance management system that is compliant with all the federal rules and regulations. Integrated full lifecycle performance management system will help DOC ensure that the performance management systems are streamlined. Required audits can be made at any time. Reports can be generated to develop predictive trends and expectations. Currently DOC's performance management is mostly paper-based with a combination of home-grown legacy systems which are not integrated thus they are not efficient and require lot of duplication of effort. Uniform reporting across agency is also deficient and may not be totally accurate for any predictive analysis.
