Description

This is a Request for Information this is not a Request for Quote. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified vendors with special interest. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The appropriate NAICS Code is 339112 (please annotate different NAICS if applicable) The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, and the VA Medical Center in Albany, NY anticipate a purchase order for the following: MFG SBB Sterile Storage HVAC Controlled Cabinets 0001 04 each SSC4400 Cabinet 36 wide X 33 deep X 76 high - 4 shelves 33 wide X 16 deep. 0002 04 each SSC4500 Cabinet 30 wide X 35 deep X 76 high - 5 shelves 27 3/4 wide X 18 deep. This procurement would be for new items only; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. FOB - destination Interested vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. If the offeror is quoting/offering or equal items, the offeror must clearly identify the exact make, model, manufacturer and item description for each line item to be considered. Quotes/offerors that do not provide an adequate description of how the equal product meets the salient characteristics will not be considered. Documentation that confirms the company is registered and is the required socio-economic category in the System for Award Management (SAM). Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) offerors must be verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be verified will result in the offeror s proposal to be deemed non-responsive. Responses should address how you will meet the Government's needs and provide a brief capability statement.
