Description
The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) is charged with facilitating the evolution of DCMA's culture to one that values the uniqueness and contribution of each employee and seeks to establish a work environment that allows all employees to reach their professional potential. Mentoring plays a substantial role in retaining the expertise resident in our workforce, developing our future leaders and perpetuating future success. Mentoring is widely recognized as a beneficial career development tool that not only affects individual career health and longevity, but also positively impacts mission accomplishment. While there is no one distinct path that will singlehandedly ensure future success, a broad foundation composed of a diverse skill set, professional education, and mission-related training enables you to make the best of each mentoring opportunity. ODI currently offers mentoring resources and requires a systematic and focused approach to introducing employees to the benefits of mentoring, related tools and techniques, matching mentors with compatible mentees, and instilling a culture of mentoring throughout the Agency. Mentorship is a strategic initiative in the Agency to help reduce turnover, improve employee satisfaction, and develop future leaders. The contractor shall facilitate group and individual learning experiences using a variety of mentoring tools and techniques. The net result will prepare mentors and mentees to better address ongoing changes and challenges facing the Agency and its workforce. This solicitation will potentially be issued as a small business set-aside. DCMA contemplates establishing a FFP contract that will include a base and one option year. The product service code (PSC) is R431 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611430 and the business size standard for this NAICS is $11M. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer once the solicitation is issued, which will be considered by the above agency. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of any contract resulting from this solicitation to include listing NAICS Code 611430. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The government Is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this pre-solicitation notice, however, a solicitation is anticipated to be posted, on/or about July 30, 2018.
