- Solicitation SPMYM1-180Q-0107 The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to manufacture, in accordance with NAVSEA/Newport News drawings and the statements of work, procure and deliver (1) LPT Stand, (2) LET Cofferdams, (2) LET Cofferdam Covers, (1) LET HDLG Fixture to be used on the Virginia Class at Norfolk Naval Shipyard Portsmouth, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336612 (Boat building, marine hardware and hull items). The procurement will be 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses. The contract line items are as follows: 0001: (1) EACH, Logistics Plug Trunk Stand IAW NAVSEA DWG 53711-8357131 Rev A, LOGISTICS PLUG TRUNK (LPT) STAND 0002: (2) EACH, LET Cofferdam Assembly 79 IAW DWG 53711-123-6404859 Rev C, LOGISTICS ESCAPE TRUNK DECK ENCLOSURE 0003: (2) EACH, LET Cofferdam Covers Assembly 82 IAW Cover, DWG 53711-123-6404859 Rev C, LOGISTICS ESCAPE TRUNK DECK ENCLOSURE 0004: (1) EACH, Logistic Escape Trunk Handling Fixture IAW DWG 53711-904-6410532 Rev A, LOGISTICS ESCAPE TRUNK HANDLING FIXTURES The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-18-Q-0107 and the solicitation is expected to be posted on or around 13 July 2018 and close 03 August 2018. Technical questions and requests for drawings must be written and sent by email to kenneth.mcintosh@dla.mil no later than 25 July 2018. Please make sure that the solicitation number (SPMYM1-18-Q-0107) is included in the subject line of any email correspondence. Emails without subject lines will not be read because of security issues. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at www.fedbizopps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. All items must be quoted; a multiple award is not envisioned for this solicitation.
