- Sole Source Redacted Limiting Competition Redacted RFQ W912NW-18-T-0054 Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-DPD) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Cates Control Solutions Inc. of Houston, Texas, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available. The requirement is for Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repairs for Clutch and Brake Controllers located at Corpus Christi Army Depot. This procurement will include a Base Year of performance and two (2) Option Years. The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The solicitation number for this requirement is W912NW-18-T-0054 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 and has a size standard of $7.5M. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
