Project No. 542-18-114 Construction (NRM) The Replacement of Sewage Pump #1 ACQUISITION INFORMATION: THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) must be verified by The Center for Veterans Enterprise, CVE. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR Part 36 & 14, Invitation for Bid. Project 542-18-114, Work includes: PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS (Summary): Work includes all labor, supplies, transportation, and equipment necessary to replace one (1) sewage pump (brand name or equal), and two (2) MiniCas modules (brand name or equal) for leakage and temperature monitoring. After all new components have been installed, the contractor shall provide start-up services and testing to ensure all items are functioning in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) operational standards. The solicitation documents and drawings will be available for download from the website https://www.fbo.gov on or about July 19, 2018. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and updates. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Bidders will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, drawings, and subsequent amendments, if any. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation will NOT be honored. It is essential that interested parties register on the contractors mailing list at https://www.fbo.gov, "Interested Vendor List". Individual copies of the Bidder s Mailing List WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation amendments issued to the IFB will be posted to the website, and bidders are advised it is their responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all amendments. Paper copies of amendments will NOT be individually mailed. The Pre-Bid site visit walk-thru will be held at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Building 70 - Conference Room, Coatesville, PA 19320, on July 30, 2018, at 10:00 AM (EST). While the walk-thru is not mandatory, all bidders, suppliers and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend. All requests for information or questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist by email: Lev.Stowe@va.gov, no later than August 2, 2018, at 4:00 PM (EST). No telephonic or fax requests will be honored. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude for this procurement is less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $15 Million. The Government intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible bidder whose bid constitutes the lowest price to the Government. The maximum time for completion of the project is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. To be considered for award, all prospective contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at https://www.sam.gov, MUST be in compliance with VAAR 819.7003 and meet the CVE SDVOSB verification requirements per https://www.vetbiz.gov, and MUST meet OSHA/EPA requirements.
