Description

Statement of work The US Forest Service intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Schmeekle Reserve. The required services are to conduct a project on the Hugo Sauer Nursery, Rhinelander Wisconsin. That includes historic research, developing interpretive media, and conducting public outreach. Work to start in early August 2018. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representative for consideration for future requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, USDA Forest Service, 1992 Folwell Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55108 or via e-mail to mikeash@fs.fed.us, no later than 11:00 am Central Time, July 27, 2018. Interested contractors must have an active registration in System for Award Management SAM (www.sam.gov) Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Forest Service will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Schmeekle Reserve.
