- Description
- This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 20423 HVAC Installation. 2. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 1.Room 306: i.Contractor to install 0.6 ton round flow sensing cassettes units to provide heating and cooling. ii.Relocate existing sensors and lights as needed. iii. Adjust the ceiling grid and ceiling tiles once the HVAC unit is installed. iv.Remove the existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 2.Room 307: i.Contractor to install a 1 ton round flow sensing cassette unit provide heating and cooling. ii.Relocate sensors and lights as needed. iii.Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once the HVAC unit is installed. iv.Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 3.Room 308: i. Contractor to install 0.6 ton round flow sensing cassette unit to provide heating and cooling. ii.Relocate sensors and lighting as needed. iii.Adjust existing ceiling grid and ceiling tiles once HVAC unit is installed. iv.Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 4.Room 309: i.Contractor to install four (4) 1 ton round flow sensing cassette unit to provide heating and cooling. ii.Relocate sensor and lighting as needed. iii.Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once the HVAC unit is installed. iv.Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 5.Room 310: i.Contractor to install 1.5 ton round flow sensing cassette unit to provide heating and cooling. ii.Relocate sensor and lighting as needed. iii.Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once HVAC unit is installed. iv.Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct.   6.Room 311: i.Contractor to install 1 ton round flow sensing cassette unit to provide heating and cooling. ii.Relocate sensor and lighting as needed. iii.Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once HVAC unit is installed. iv.Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 7. Room 312: a. Contractor to install 1 ton round flow sensing cassette unit to provide heating and cooling. b. Relocate sensors and lighting as needed. c. Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once HVAC unit is installed. d. Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 8. Room 313: a. Contractor to install 1.5 ton round flow sensing cassette unit to provide heating and cooling. b. Relocate sensors and lighting as needed. c. Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once HVAC unit is installed. d. Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 9. Rest Room 323: a. Contractor to install 0.5 ton wall mounted unit for heating and cooling. b. Remove existing diffuser and grilles and cap duct patch ceiling opening and repair to match existing ceiling. 10. Room 326: a. Contractor to install (1) 1 ton and (1) 0.75 ton round flow sensing cassette units to provide heating and cooling. b. Relocate sensors and lighting as needed. c. Adjust existing ceiling grid and tiles once HVAC unit is installed. d. Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 11. IT Room: a. Contractor to install 1.5 ton wall mounted unit for cooling. b. Remove existing diffusers and grilles and cap duct. 12. Contractor to install thermostats at every location with a cassette unit. 13. Install one condenser on the outside of the building. 14. Install a concrete pad with a stand for the condenser to rest on. 15. Install an enclosure for the lines along the wall. Match the building color. 16. Install one VRV, location to be determined at a later date. 17. Connect the HVAC systems to the existing I-Touch Manager.
