- Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing Ventilator, V60 Transport Configuration Package With Unassembled Cart and Service Manuals. These are for the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Verify that the business is under 339112 of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), Verification of Size Standard under the NAICS, Business name, address, Point of Contact, and if the business has verification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at Daniel.Johnson44@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 5:00 P.M. (EST) on Tuesday, July 17, 2017. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to Daniel.Johnson44@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Statement of Need for: Ventilators V60 Transport Configuration Package with Unassembled Cart Introduction The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, Medical Service / Respiratory Therapy have determined the need to purchase for the following purchase. Justification: Wilkes-Barre VAMC is in need to increase their existing stock of ventilators to meet patient needs. These machines are critical non-invasive positive pressure ventilators. These are in addition to the ventilators that are currently in use. No additional training will be required for this request. The noninvasive ventilation Requirements: 1. Non-invasive ventilator with advanced breath delivery technology and algorithms designed to maximize performance, advanced NIV with auto-trak for optimal synchrony in the face of leak and changing patient demands, automatic mask calibration and touchscreen. 2. The V60 s shall be capable of delivering continuous bi-level positive airway pressure. The units shall have a minimum of six (6) hours of battery life and must be accompanied by the transport configuration package. 3. The device shall be compatible with existing name brand equipment and utilize the same consumables in stock. 4. The units shall be able capable of delivering continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), Bi-level positive pressure (BIPAP) with S/T mode, Pressure control Ventilation (PCV) and Average volume assured pressure support (AVAPS). Quantity: Four (4) Ventilator, V60 Transport configuration package with unassembled cart and 1 year warranty. Delivery: To be delivered Medical Service / Respiratory Therapy Department. Delivery accepted at VAMC Wilkes Barre, Warehouse, 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes Barre, PA 18711; Weekdays 8:00am 4:00pm, excluding any government holidays.
